Yves Godbout est vocaliste de métal extrême depuis maintenant plus d'une décennie. Il a développé son talent à travers divers projets tels que: Within Anguish, et plus récemment avec Growlers Choir. Il a aussi prêté sa voix lors de plusieurs collaborations avec des groupes tels que Lacrimae Mortalium, Barrdo et Disorientation. Sa passion pour le vocal guttural et dissonant lui est venue durant sa jeunesse grâce à, bien sûr, la musique, mais aussi les jeux de rôles comme Dungeons & Dragons, Fantasy Hero et World Of Darkness. Ajoutons à cela plusieurs jeux vidéo incluant entre autres Diablo, Mass Effect, Assassin’s Creed, Star Craft, Eternal Darkness, etc. Cumulant plus de 20 ans d'expérience dans les jeux de rôle et 15 ans dans le monde du LARPing, Yves est une encyclopédie de connaissances sur les univers des jeux, les mythologies et tout ce qui touche au monde du fantastique. En plus de la musique, Yves poursuit son parcours artistique à travers l'écriture,la photographie et la création de matériel original pour jeux de rôles. La culmination d’un de ces projets l’a d’ailleurs amené à publier un ouvrage photographique sur le sujet… Du hurlement! Son enthousiasme pour ces projets l’amène maintenant à vouloir prêter ses voix à vos créations numériques

Born in January 78, Sven has been working as a digital product designer since 2008 as well as a graphic designer creating artworks within the music industry for decades. Frontmand and founder of the international death metal band ABORTED (Century Media) who has released over 13 fullengths and various EP’s, averaging about 100+ shows per year touring the globe as well as being the front man of the bands COFFIN FEEDER and FETAL BLOOD EAGLE. Obsessed with the macabre, horror, pop culture and gaming, these have been his main lyrical inspirations and Sven even joined the Doom Eternal choir to provide some grotesque sounds for that video game. Always eager to try new things, making horrible new sounds on games just seems like a logical next step.

My experience with music was always something experimental. I`ve never studied in any musical school or got graduated in anything related to that. My first contact I can recall was when learning to play acoustic guitar and I sang totally from my feeling to a friend of mine that told me I had a beautiful voice back in the in the days. Since that, I was always involved with some school bands or some other musical experience with friends. Around May of 2019, I was in need of studying guitar and vocals due to band I formed together with some friends and there were many songs we played that involved vocal distortion. This was when I started to search courses for that and I found Mr Gabriel Bonilla with his youtube channel, teaching a lot of distortion maneuvers with no complexity. I got in touch with him, first, trying to learn simple drive technics and it naturally evolved to growl, fry and death scream distortions due to my personal taste. My only reference, singing with distorted vocals was in a video that Mr Gabriel invited me to record when we were studing this song, called Ghost of Perdition, from Opeth. Nowadays, I keep studying the distorted vocals and I am working in something authorial that will be released by the end of 2022.
