Each workshop is designed as a standalone learning experience.
To ensure that every participant has the necessary foundation, a small portion of key material may be repeated across workshops — especially at the beginner level.
This way, whether it’s your first workshop or your third, you’ll always have the essential tools in place to sustainably and effectively explore creature vocalizations and vocal stunt work.
The majority of each workshop, however, focuses on unique material and practical exercises, ensuring you gain new knowledge and skills every time you join us.

Right to Refuse
We may refuse or remove participants for disruptive or inappropriate behavior. Refunds are only issued if refusal happens before the session begins.
Recording & Photography
Workshops and lessons may be recorded for enrolled participants’ private review only — recordings must not be shared. Group photos may be taken during workshops for social media/website. Please let us know in advance if you don’t wish to appear in photos.
Workshops – Cancellations & Transfers
All sales are final. No refunds are issued for cancellations or no-shows. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another Monster Factory workshop of equal value (within 6 months), by notifying us at least 24 hours before the scheduled workshop. Exceptions may be granted in documented emergencies, at our discretion.
Private Lessons – Cancellations & Rescheduling
All lesson purchases are non-refundable, but lessons can always be rescheduled if you notify us. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given or you miss a lesson without notice, it may still be rescheduled at no cost; however, repeated last-minute changes or no-shows may result in the lesson being forfeited.

Discovering how to isolate and activate rough or extreme vocal effects can be tricky without a knowledgeable guide. The entry point for activating a specific vocal effect is rarely the same from person to person, which is why this workshop is structured to give every participant direct, individual attention.
Each participant receives around 30 minutes of focused one-on-one work, during which the instructor helps them discover the entry points for each effect, provides corrections, and tailors guidance to their unique physiology and vocal tendencies. While one participant is receiving individual feedback, the rest of the group benefits by observing, since the advice and corrections often apply across different effects. This creates a learning environment where everyone not only progresses through their own exploration, but also gains valuable insights from the experiences of others.
In this workshop, participants will work one-on-one to explore and activate specific vocal effects. Each participant can choose which effects to focus on, making the training personalized and flexible. Depending on their choices, we will explore:
